Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a custodial professional to perform advanced cleaning tasks across assigned buildings, indoors and outdoors as needed. You will submit reports to the Supervisor and maintain a professional, friendly attitude while ensuring high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, supply management, safety compliance with OSHA guidelines, and daily work order completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, light bulb replacement and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Uses equipment safely and follows procedures; maintains equipment in good condition.
• Maintains sanitary supplies and cleaning materials; reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Inspects areas for faulty equipment or processes and resolves issues.
• Ensures security procedures are followed at all times.
