Job summary

Guest Services is seeking a Custodian to perform skilled and routine maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. The role covers interior cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming, and window washing, as well as exterior upkeep including mowing, leaf raking, and trash management.

The position requires basic education, strong sanitation habits, and good customer service abilities to assist customers and coworkers and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the cleanliness and order of the inside facility, including light dusting, vacuuming, and window washing.
• Manage and maintain the cleanliness and order of the outside property, including mowing grass, raking leaves, minor snow shoveling, picking up trash.
• Pull trash from trash receptacles throughout the unit. Replace trash bags as needed. Sort recycling for trash bins.
• Respond to and perform basic maintenance requests, including changing light bulbs and moving furniture and boxes.
• Order supplies as needed, keep storeroom clean and stocked.
• Receive and put away deliveries.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Maintain all bathroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and toilet seat covers.
