Job summary

Chimes is seeking a dedicated custodian to perform essential cleaning tasks across public spaces and facilities under the AbilityOne program. This role requires leadership of a small team and adherence to contract specifications.

You will mentor newer custodians, ensure quality work, and coordinate with supervisors while performing routine cleaning, disinfection, and basic maintenance duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Lead team in day-to-day cleaning activities and mentor new custodians.
• Transport team members, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings.
• Ensure and report on quality and quantity of work by custodians.
• Perform cleaning and disinfection of restrooms and public spaces.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Support with training staff and assist supervisor to complete duties.
