Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Custodian for a role focused on maintaining public and work space areas. You will oversee team members, determine work quantity and quality, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.

The position involves extensive cleaning duties, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with supervisors. A high school diploma is preferred, with six months of custodial experience and CPR/FR preferred. Ability to lift and move items is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cleaning operations and ensure tasks meet contract specifications.
• Mentor newly hired custodians and report on quality and quantity of work.
• Transport team members, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings.
• Work with supervisor to complete duties and respond to supervisor communications.
• Perform routine cleaning across restrooms, floors, kitchens, and common areas.
• Assist with special events by setting up and taking down furniture.
