Job summary

Chimes in Maryland seeks a custodial team lead to perform cleaning and maintenance across public and work spaces. You will supervise and mentor fellow custodians, determine daily workload, and ensure contract specifications are met.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, and common areas; coordinating supplies, reporting facilities issues, and assisting with training. A valid driver's license and prior custodial experience are preferred; a high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Perform daily cleaning functions while leading day-to-day activities.
• Transport team members, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings.
• Mentor newly hired custodians and report on quality and quantity of work.
• Assign rework as needed and ensure 100% compliance with contract specifications.
• Assist with training staff in proper cleaning procedures and techniques.
• Work with supervisor to ensure all duties are completed.
• Report facilities issues such as broken or leaking fixtures to supervisor.
