Francis Howell School District is seeking a Custodial Manager to supervise custodial services and facility rental operations across the district. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficient use of facilities for district events.

The candidate will lead custodial staff, coordinate with other departments, and implement preventive maintenance programs, while managing budgets and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a full-time on-site role at FHSD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary degree or certification in facilities management preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in custodial services or facilities management, including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee custodial and facility rental services, ensuring compliance with district standards.
• Supervise custodial staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating personnel.
• Conduct regular inspections of district facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Oversee maintenance of custodial equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Implement a preventive maintenance program for custodial equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and manage budgets for custodial services and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate necessary actions.
• Collaborate with district departments for events and programs.
• Prepare reports and memos to track activities and budget status.
• Train custodial staff on best practices for cleaning and safety procedures.
