The position involves supervising custodial staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring building systems, and ensuring facilities are prepared for district events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership experience.
• Experience in an urban-rural, multi-ethnic school district preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily custodial staff; prepare shift schedules and assign zones.
• Program thermostat schedules and monitor HVAC systems; submit repair work orders.
• Oversee preventive maintenance workflows and fleet vehicle scheduling.
• Enforce safety standards and lead MIOSHA training updates.
• Direct supply inventories, place parts orders, and process vendor invoices.
• Conduct routine building inspections and track energy usage.
• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities and COO on district projects and budgets.
