Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to address residents' daily needs, coordinate activities, and act as a liaison between the General Services Department, residents, and staff.

Starting pay is $27–$31 per hour, based on experience, with bi-weekly pay. The role requires 3+ years of facilities or office experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of building systems, plus strong customer service and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment or facilities management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services.
• Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences.
• Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.
• Audit all facilities for proper maintenance, repair, and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s).
• Conduct surveys on services recently performed for residents and other departments.
• Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods.
