You will help manage day-to-day operations for 250,000–300,000 sq ft of laboratories, manufacturing, and testing facilities on site, collaborating with Facilities Managers, Engineering, and Maintenance teams. The role focuses on work order management, reporting, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in facilities.
  • Experience with purchase orders and invoice processing preferred.
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently, proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and be able to follow basic work routines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor work orders to ensure timely completion and closure.
  • Generate, track and analyze work order reports and monitor performance.
  • Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure procedures, policies, and reporting formats are followed.
  • Acknowledge and address client inquiries related to the site and respond promptly.
  • Review work orders, proposals, and department files submitted by vendors.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to identify and address site issues.
  • Perform basic facility maintenance and workplace support tasks, including assembling furniture and minor repairs.

About the Role:

Join CBRE as a Facilities Coordinator supporting one of our premier clients in the technology sector. In this role, you will support approximately 250,000 to 300,000 square feet of laboratory, manufacturing, and testing facilities while working onsite with the client in Redmond, WA. Working closely with Facilities Managers, Engineering and Maintenance teams, client stakeholders, vendors, and service providers, you will help coordinate day-to-day operations and contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace environment.

A key responsibility of this role is supporting the Maintenance and Engineering teams through work order management, including entering, tracking, updating, and reporting on work orders to ensure timely completion and operational efficiency. As part of CBRE's Facilities Management team, you'll gain exposure to a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of this high-profile account.

What You'll Do:
  • Regularly monitor work orders to ensure their timely completion and closure.
  • Generate, track and analyze work order reports and monitor performance.
  • Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
  • Acknowledge and address all client inquiries related to the site, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Review work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to identify and address site issues.
  • Perform basic facility maintenance and workplace support tasks, including assembling furniture, hanging pictures and assist with minor repairs as needed.
  • Follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in facilities.
  • Some exposure to finance-related tasks required. Experience with purchase order creation and invoice process preferred.
  • Must be self-sufficient and can work independently.Candidate should also be resourceful and proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace applications required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Experience using a CMMS and familiarity with utilizing AI powered tools to support productivity and report are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities are required.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
