A leading company in facilities management, ABM Industries Inc., is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for its Stamford location. The role entails ensuring effective maintenance planning and scheduling, managing client projects, and utilizing a computerized maintenance management system. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in maintenance scheduling, project management experience, and familiarity with safety procedures.
The Facilities Coordinator will determine and execute work schedules, diagnose problems and ensure quality control, preventative maintenance and compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Planner schedulers consider each stage of the production process to increase efficiency and productivity. A maintenance planner is responsible for making sure maintenance technicians have the tools and parts they need to complete work orders. Planning defines WHAT and HOW, while scheduling defines WHEN and WHO.
