Join to apply for the Facilities Coordinator role at WIKA Group

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing routine and complex maintenance and repairs of all building structures, electrical systems, equipment, and grounds.
  2. Conducting regular preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, lubricating bearings and seals, and repairing or replacing damaged components.
  3. Performing general interior maintenance such as replacing broken windows and repairing doors, locks, and closets.
  4. Conducting monthly inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds, maintaining detailed records of all scheduled maintenance activities.
  5. Performing non-licensed repairs on facility mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems and exhaust fans.
  6. Responding to emergency maintenance requests, including off-hours response as needed.
  7. Assisting other departments with building office equipment, moving furniture, and unloading and storing supplies.
  8. Obtaining estimates for supplies and repair parts, and ordering parts as needed.
  9. Overseeing scheduling and coordination with outside vendors for maintenance and improvement projects.
  10. Providing oversight and limited supervision to Contractors and Public Service Workers during assigned projects.
  11. Assisting in janitorial duties as necessary to meet department goals.
  12. Performing ancillary duties as required.

Profile requirements include:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Five years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance and repair, including plumbing and electrical, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  3. Moderate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, other software).
  4. Strong skills in using hand and power tools.
  5. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to read and comprehend drawings, instructions, and memos.
  7. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  8. Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
  9. Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize tasks.
  10. Ability to operate mobility equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.
  11. Valid driver’s license.
