Job summary

Tri-Valley, Inc. seeks a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to oversee building operations, coordinate inspections and repairs, and manage custodial and maintenance duties.

You will supervise contractors, open the building each morning, and ensure supplies and purchase orders are handled efficiently. The role requires seven years in custodial/maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge, plus strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors and inspections.
  • Opening of the building each day.
  • Monitor and order custodial supplies and office supplies; complete purchase orders.
  • Coordinate facility preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, improvements, trash pickup, shredding and related work.
  • Review and make recommendations on service contracts and leases.
  • Maintain contractor contact list and alarm call list.
  • Maintain upkeep of maintenance issues with agency van.
  • Identify areas of concern in the building.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of floors throughout the building.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and restroom facilities throughout the building.
  • Refill dispensers such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc.
  • Trash collection and recycling.
  • Seasonally assist with weeding and keeping walkways clear of ice.
  • Move furniture, tables, chairs and deliveries of paper products, etc.
  • Room setup for meetings.

Job description

This position maintains oversight of facility operations and coordinates inspections and repairs. This working coordinator provides custodial services, maintenance services and coordination of contractors. This is a Monday-Friday position (days) - Full time, 35 hours per week. Responsibilities include:

Essential Functions/Qualifications:

1. Seven years’ experience in custodial/maintenance field with basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge
