Job description

Purpose of Position: Oversee all activities inside a building, making sure that health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
  • Responsible for visitor(s) screening, notification and verification.
  • Coordinate’s maintenance requests. Ensures problems are resolved quickly.
  • Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve facility problems.
  • Monitor and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment with facility owners.
  • Manages hazardous waste disposal programs.
  • Manages the paper recycling program.
  • Coordinate’s cleaning services for buildings.
  • Maintains up-to-date records for all inspections. Including HVAC monitoring for OR OSHA COVID requirements.
  • Complete COVID required workplace cleaning daily.
  • Maintain and monitor building security system.
  • Monitor office supply stock and reordering.
  • Maintain conference room schedule, food and beverage requests. Coordinate offsite meetings as needed.
  • Answer and route incoming calls.
  • Maintain and update employee directory.
  • Maintain and ensure regulatory and business documents are on file, organized and up to date.
  • Coordinate communication with utility companies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications
  • Three years related facilities experience.
  • Three years customer service experience working in an office environment.
  • Experience working in a security capacity, preferred.
Physical Demands of Position
  • Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
  • Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
