Job summary

Tri Valley, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Facility Operations Coordinator to oversee custodial and maintenance services, coordinate contractors, and manage inspections and repairs.

The full-time, Monday–Friday role (35 hours/week) requires seven years in custodial/maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry knowledge, strong time-management and communication skills, and independent, detail-oriented work habits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors and inspections.
  • Opening of the building.
  • Monitor and order custodial supplies and office supplies as needed, completing purchase orders to do so.
  • Coordinate facility preventative maintenance work, inspections, repairs, improvements, trash pickup, shredding and other work related to the building.
  • Review and make recommendations on service contracts and leases.
  • Maintain contractor contact list and alarm call list.
  • Responsible for upkeep of maintenance issues with agency van.
  • Identify areas of concern in the building.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of floors throughout the building.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and restroom facilities throughout the building.
  • Refill dispensers such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc. throughout the building as needed.
  • Trash collection
  • Recycling
  • Seasonally assist with weeding of the property and keeping the walkways clear of ice.
  • Move furniture, tables, chairs and deliveries of paper products, etc.
  • Room setup for meetings

Job description
