Job Overview
Responsible for resolving satellite store and Home Fragrance facility maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure satisfactory selling and working environments. Must adhere to satellite store maintenance and renovation budgets. Review performance of contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Maintain a continuous open line of communication (24/7 availability) to ensure resolution of issues. Exercise discretion in the handling of confidential YCC information.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and process service requests and resolve maintenance issues timely and efficiently to ensure a safe and pleasant environment within retail satellite stores and Home Fragrance facilities.
- Contact vendors to perform services and research potential changes to vendor list.
- Purchase and track inventory of company owned fixtures and equipment.
- Monitor repair and maintenance costs to ensure budget constraints are met.
- Inform facilities management of escalated and/or ongoing maintenance or vendor issues and make recommendations for improvement.
- Set-up and organize satellite store data within the facilities management software program.
- Source vendors and establish maintenance contracts for HVAC, Pest Control, Window Washing, Fire Alarm inspections, etc., for satellite stores.
- Obtain and review quotes.
- Assist with the management of construction and renovation projects at existing YCC satellite retail locations and Home Fragrance facilities, including reviewing contracts, awarding contracts, reviewing/approving invoices and quotes, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a proactive approach to decision-making and prioritizing demands in real time.
- Previous experience in retail store maintenance dispatching or similar roles is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of ADA and Building Department codes.
- Basic knowledge of Building Automation Systems and/or HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage others in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require. May include after-hours coverage on a rotating basis.
