Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Facilities Project Manager 2 to provide project management support for Job Order Contracting, capital, and GESA projects. You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders from planning through completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating complex projects, evaluating plans for compliance, supervising contracts, and monitoring budgets.

Qualifications

• You must have five years of experience interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• You must have five years of experience using project management software to monitor construction schedules, budgets, and project progress.
• You must have five years of experience conducting construction site inspections and documenting project deficiencies or corrective actions.
• You must have five years of experience coordinating multiple construction projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support complex construction and renovation projects across Commonwealth facilities.
• Align project scopes with facility needs by working with Facilities Management and Capital Planning.
• Evaluate drawings, specifications, and site conditions for compliance with standards.
• Manage contracts, amendments, and change orders while ensuring procurement compliance.
• Track expenditures, schedules, and risks to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records and prepare updates and reports for leadership.
• Verify adherence to building codes, safety regulations throughout project execution.
