Facilities, Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

The Facilities Construction Project Manager will lead project construction and design coordination efforts supporting facilities, labs, offices, and support spaces for manufacturing and engineering. The role is based in Tucson, AZ, with support for sites in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

1. Manage facility construction projects, coordinating with facilities engineers, architects, consultants, and construction superintendents.
2. Coordinate with facility managers and site teams for planning and resource allocation.
3. Consult on engineering issues, relay decisions, and manage project priorities and design changes.
4. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and documentation, ensuring timely completion and close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or related; 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (Secret level).
• Experience managing vertical/horizontal construction projects, reading drawings, and knowledge of OSHA and building codes.

Preferred Skills

• Team leadership, research skills, prioritization under pressure.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.), proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or office facility operations.
