Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks a Construction Project Manager within Facilities & Services to manage facility projects from initiation through closeout, supporting Pratt & Whitney's Capital Improvement Program at the Midland site. The role focuses on safety, standards, and on-time delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop budgets, review designs for codes, oversee procurement, track actions, and ensure field execution and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in an industrial construction environment, OR a Master's degree and 3+ years in an industrial construction environment.
• Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures to include building codes and standards of practice and construction materials and methods.
• Understanding of costs of new construction, escalation factors, and market trends.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate designated projects with a specific timeframe and funding to meet safety, standards, and schedule goals.
• Develop conceptual plans and budgets to support fiscal decision-making and coordinate with proponent groups for facility planning.
• Prepare RFPs, review plans for code compliance and project requirements.
• Oversee project engineering firms, schedule meetings, track actions, and report on all phases of planning and construction.
• Coordinate all parties involved in planning, design, and construction; maintain budgets and procurement activities; prepare purchase orders and change orders as needed.
• Administer the submittal process for design/construction documents and perform field reviews for construction compliance.
