Job summary

DePelchin Family Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join the Maintenance team. You will coordinate and provide equipment and facility set-up for meetings, conferences, and events, and deliver customer service to building patrons.

You will monitor space usage, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot Audio Visual systems, and work with IT to support technical needs. The role also involves on-site coordination and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year experience in basic building maintenance.
• One year experience with audio video equipment and maintenance.
• Must have valid Texas driver license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely meeting set-ups and breakdowns in conference rooms and other areas.
• Coordinate AV requests and equipment layout for meetings.
• Work with IT for proper use of computer equipment.
• Maintain and replace Audio Visual equipment and supplies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and daily work orders for building systems.
• Assist with deliveries, mail room support, and inspections.
• Maintain a safe work area and respond to maintenance issues as needed.
• Custodial tasks as required.
