Job summary

DePelchin Family Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day building, grounds, and facility systems. You will coordinate routine maintenance, prioritize work orders, and support preventive maintenance programs under the Facilities Manager.

This on-site role requires five years of experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing expertise, plus EPA HVAC certification and an Electrical Apprentice License.

Qualifications

• Five years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and construction.
• EPA HVAC/Refrigeration certification.
• Electrical Apprentice License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day maintenance activities for buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.
• Assists with prioritizing work orders and monitoring progress.
• Supports emergency response efforts and on-call coverage.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Coordinates vendor services and ensures service expectations.
• Maintains inventory of supplies, parts, and tools.
• Performs maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Monitors HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and reports issues.
