Job summary

Epic in Madison, WI is seeking an Operations Center Technician to monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center. The role supports business continuity across Epic’s campuses and coordinates with emergency services to restore operations swiftly.

Qualifications

Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field.
Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
COVID‑19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Monitor real-time alerts and maintain business continuity across Epic’s campuses from the Facilities Command Center.
Manage access and security systems and oversee building operations.
Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data; coordinate emergency responses when disruptions occur.
Collaborate with internal teams and emergency services to restore normal operations quickly and safely.
