Job summary

BlueChip Pros is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for Macy's Summit Mall in Akron to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness. The role focuses on directing staff, enforcing safety practices, and coordinating resources with management to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate will supervise, train, and evaluate team performance, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to quality control measures in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise, organize and review the work of lower level staff.
• Knowledge of operations, services and activities of a commercial cleaning program.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with QA programs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review the daily work of staff.
• Establish schedules, work goals and methods for providing cleaning services; identify resource needs; allocate resources accordingly.
• Maintain a motivational and supportive working environment for staff.
• Utilize QA Program to quantify personnel performance.
• Communication with management to coordinate tasks and solicit feedback on area of responsibility.
• Follow-through on all requests for routine and non-routine tasks.
• Specifically responsible for proper use of products and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Account Manager or Operations Manager (e.g., floor care).
