Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to maintain clean, sanitary and orderly spaces across assigned facilities. You will perform high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash management and floor care, including both interior and outdoor areas.

The role requires attentiveness, reliability and adherence to cleaning protocols. The position involves daily cleaning tasks in public areas, food courts and common spaces, with attention to safety and customer

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and methods.
Knowledge of safe work practices.
Knowledge of handling cleaning chemicals per MSDS sheets.
Ability to understand and follow instructions, communicate with team, operate equipment, and handle cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

High dust surfaces above shoulder height in a counter‑clockwise pattern.
Sanitize and spot clean surfaces below shoulder height.
Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution in specified order and refill dispensers.
Empty trash cans, replace liners and keep areas tidy.
Dust mop floors, vacuum, and clean under furniture; ensure public areas are clean.
Grounds care: clean outdoor areas, sidewalks and benches; police trash and debris.
Clean food court tables, remove trash, and sanitize surfaces.
