Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to perform cleaning tasks across assigned facilities. You will dust, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms, floors, and common areas while ensuring trash is removed and supplies are replenished.

Attention to detail and reliable handling of cleaning chemicals are essential. Daily tasks include high-dusting, floor care, outdoor grounds cleaning, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations.
• Familiar with janitorial methods, materials and equipment.
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces around room.
• Bathroom cleaning including toilets and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming, dust under furniture.
• Grounds care and outdoor cleaning tasks.
• Clean public common areas and glass.
• Food court cleaning and tray washing.
• Floor sanitizing with germicidal solution.
• Inspect room and report any issues.
