Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial professional to maintain clean and sanitary facilities. Responsibilities include high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and grounds maintenance across public and food court areas.

You will follow safety guidelines, work quietly, and report any maintenance issues to supervisors, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial tasks and cleaning methods.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• High dust surfaces above shoulder height using a high duster.
• Sanitize and spot clean surfaces around the room, including doors, ledges, and trashcans.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution in prescribed order (sink area, toilet seat and outside of bowl).
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Dust mop floors, vacuum rooms, and clean under furniture; ensure corners are free of dust and cobwebs.
• Inspect and maintain public common areas, food court, and outdoor spaces; wipe glass and benches as required.
• Perform floor sanitizing and routine room inspection to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or Account Manager.
