Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. seeks a reliable janitorial worker to perform cleaning in assigned facilities, keeping areas sanitary, safe and orderly.

Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and exterior grounds checks. You will follow established MSDS guidelines, use proper cleaners, report maintenance needs, and maintain a courteous demeanor with guests.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High Dusting around the room using a treated high duster.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning and sanitizing.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming and floor sanitizing.
• Grounds care and outdoor maintenance.
• Public common areas cleaning and upkeep.
• Food court area cleaning and trash removal.
• Inspect room and ensure cleanliness and order.
• Customer relations and service with courtesy.
