Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is looking for a reliable janitorial worker to perform cleaning tasks in assigned buildings, maintaining clean, sanitary conditions. Duties include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, grounds maintenance, and keeping common areas presentable.

You will follow safety practices and report issues to your supervisor. Training on use of cleaning chemicals per MSDS is provided; you will ensure proper handling and disposal, and maintain

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High Dusting of surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning and replenishment of soap/paper dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming including under furniture.
• Grounds care for outdoor areas (trash removal, cleaning sidewalks).
• Maintain public common areas including cleanliness of glass and planters.
• Food court cleaning: remove trash, sanitize tables, and manage trays.
