Job summary

Attention to safety, adherence to MSDS guidance, and the ability to work with a team are essential. The role involves inspecting finished work, keeping areas clean, and reporting issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Sufficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• High dust surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitize surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning following the specified order.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting and vacuuming with proper technique.
• Grounds care for outdoor areas.
• Public common areas cleaning and window checks.
• Food court cleanup and sanitation.
• Floor sanitizing after cleaning.
• Inspect room and report any issues to supervisor.
