Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to perform cleaning tasks across assigned facilities, maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment.

Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and outdoor grounds checks. You will follow safety guidelines, use appropriate cleaning chemicals, inspect rooms for missed spots, and report maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in assigned buildings to keep areas clean, sanitary and in order.
• Conduct high dusting around rooms and fixtures.
• Sanitize surfaces below shoulder height and spot-clean windows.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution and maintain dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners; manage floor dusting, vacuuming and mop duties.
• Care for grounds and outdoor cleaning; police sidewalks and benches.
• Maintain cleanliness of public common areas and food court zones.
• Sanitize floors and inspect rooms after cleaning tasks.
