Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Custodian (Janitor) to maintain cleanliness of equipment, facilities and grounds. This non-exempt role focuses on ensuring a safe, organized production and office environment.

You will perform heavy cleaning, sanitize surfaces, empty trash, and assist with event preparations. This position requires the ability to work with a team, follow safety procedures, and lift up to 90 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn cleaning products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning of equipment and facilities using standard methods.
• Clean offices, bathrooms, break rooms, and other areas.
• Move furniture and supplies between departments.
• Operate a powered industrial truck where certified.
• Follow safety procedures and keep records of maintenance.
• Prepare facilities for meetings, events, and banquets.
