Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Custodian/Janitor to maintain cleanliness of equipment, facilities, and grounds. This safety-sensitive role requires performing heavy cleaning, scrubbing, and general maintenance across plant areas and offices.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, moving items, assisting with events, and following safety procedures. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively with a team.
• Work independently, comprehend and follow written or verbal direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning of plant equipment using cleaning methods.
• Scrub, sanitize, vacuum, sweep and mop facilities and offices.
• Move furniture and supplies between departments; assist with events setup.
• Operate a powered industrial truck where certified; monitor safety and cleanliness.
