Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Maryland is seeking a dedicated custodial/housekeeping professional to maintain cleanliness and the smooth operation of our facility in Lexington Park. The role supports daily site needs under the guidance of the Executive Director and interacts with staff and clients as needed.

No formal education is required, but a minimum of two years of related experience is preferred. You will perform cleaning, restocking, trash removal, and routine upkeep to keep our center

Qualifications

• No formal education required; two years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, multitasking and time management abilities.
• Dignified, recovery-oriented and trustworthy character.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
