Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of the facility. You will perform routine custodial duties and support operations under the direction of the Executive Director.

This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication. No formal education is required, but two years of related experience and sobriety if in recovery are preferred; join our team for a five-star care environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility.
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director.
