Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Capital Projects Lead to drive day-to-day execution of new facility builds, large-scale renovations, and tenant improvements. You will be the primary liaison among internal operations, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role covers the full lifecycle from concept through commissioning, requiring strong leadership and collaboration to manage multiple complex construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the building design and construction industry or in commercial construction project management.
• Active project management or design certifications (PMP, LEED, or AIA) are desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility builds, renovations, and tenant improvements from concept to turnover.
• Develop detailed budgets, work schedules, and resource plans with department managers.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Review vendor invoices, change orders, and pay applications; maintain project documentation.
• Lead coordination meetings and provide regular status updates on schedules and milestones.
• Identify day-to-day issues and escalate major changes as needed.
• Manage external and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of scopes of work.
