Job summary

Fenix Marine Services, LTD is seeking a Manager of M&R Buildings & Facilities to oversee all aspects of the terminal’s buildings and infrastructure within the fenceline, including critical towers, substations, and security fencing. The role emphasizes safety leadership, compliance with OSHA, and strong vendor coordination to ensure reliable parts supply and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of terminal maintenance services operations, stevedore and vessel operations.
• Experience in working in a union environment with collective bargaining procedures.
• TWIC card required and DHS credentialing process familiarity.
• Experience with computer-based Maintenance Services Systems (Maximo, Depot System or Newport).
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, time management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facilities and infrastructure assets within the fenceline and related towers, sheds, and utilities.
• Serve as safety leader for Buildings & Facilities and coordinate incident response.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels for site facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with PoLA, vendors, and procurement for cost-effective parts and service.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
• Lead preventive maintenance, repairs, and annual inspections (elevators, drains, etc.).
• Manage labor resources and liaise with MFOW, ILWU, OCU labor groups; understand CBAs.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting to track performance and cost savings.
