Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute department goals while effectively managing labor utilization
• Develop and manage work schedules and assignments based on business needs
• Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Maintain accurate operational data for ongoing projects, including time, production, and cost
• Document daily work activities in Salesforce
• Coordinate requisition of materials, supplies, equipment, and repair services
• Maintain inventory of shop supplies, tools, and equipment
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe
• Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program for department tools and equipment
• Clearly communicate expectations and provide direction to team members
• Promote open communication and information sharing
• Support employee development through coaching and training opportunities
• Train and onboard new employees on equipment, procedures, and company guidelines
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance quality and productivity
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE usage
• Assist HR on staffing and disciplinary matters
• Engage in succession planning and leadership development
