Job summary

BRIC, an arts and media institution in Downtown Brooklyn, seeks an Operations Manager, Facilities & Building Management to oversee day-to-day facilities across BRIC House, 75 Rockwell, and additional sites. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Associate Director, Operations and requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of facilities experience.

• Experience supervising custodial, public safety, or building operations staff.
• Strong vendor coordination and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across BRIC House and sites; ensure safety and readiness.
• Act as primary internal contact for facilities needs across staff and stakeholders.
• Track work orders and coordinate with external facilities management company.
• Operate Building Management System (BMS) and address issues.
• Ensure venue readiness for events and programs.
