Job summary

BRIC seeks an Operations Manager, Facilities & Building Management to oversee day-to-day facilities operations across BRIC House, 75 Rockwell, and additional sites in Brooklyn. You will supervise custodial and public safety staff, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure spaces remain safe, clean, and ready for programs and events.

You’ll lead maintenance, manage the Building Management System, track work orders, and coordinate with the facilities management company to support BRIC’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in facilities management, building operations, or venue operations.
• Experience supervising custodial, public safety, or other building operations staff.
• Knowledge of building systems, BMS operation, fire safety, and health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across BRIC House, 75 Rockwell, and additional sites, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and operationally ready.
• Supervise the Senior Public Safety Officer and Building Custodians; coordinate custodial and security schedules across BRIC venues.
• Manage building access, health and safety compliance, and vendor coordination with external partners.
