Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a Facilities Budget Coordinator to join their team. As a Facilities Budget Coordinator, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting various operational teams. Pay Range:$18/hr -$21/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform a variety of standard bookkeeping and accounting tasks related to facilities management, applying accepted procedures to maintain accurate records.
- Oversee building financial data and accounting practices across all Lines of Business (LOBs), creating and tracking over 1,000 purchase orders annually.
- Manage subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions to the general ledger, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Coordinate procurement activities such as ordering shopping carts, managing purchase orders, processing invoices, and working with suppliers on delinquent invoicing issues.
- Collaborate with Construction Managers and Facilities Specialists to ensure precise budget tracking, invoice management, and purchase order accuracy for ongoing and new projects.
What's Needed?
- One to two years of experience in an accounting environment, preferably within facilities or construction bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of clerical or construction bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Ability to perform detailed work with numerical data and perform arithmetic computations accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in 10-key by touch (7,000 keystrokes per hour) and ability to key both alpha and numeric data (6,000 keystrokes per hour).
