Job summary

IST Management Services is hiring a Facilities Associate (Hospitality) in Reston, VA. This full-time direct hire role supports daily operations, cleaning common areas, and coordinating with facilities and administrative staff to maintain the building’s value and appearance.

The position observes a business professional dress code and offers cross-training for advancement opportunities, plus a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life, PTO, holidays, 401K and bonus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently or in a team; multitask effectively.
• Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds; willing to cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Safely cleans common areas throughout the day with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintains breakrooms and conference rooms: stock supplies, clean surfaces, and organize items.
• Monitor conference center cleanliness and restock as needed; report maintenance issues.
• Provide visual inspections and report facilities issues to management.
• Assist with on-call requests and special meeting support for executives.
• Back up facilities mail room and receptionist tasks as needed; other duties as assigned.
