Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a skilled maintenance technician for the Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, VA to maintain building systems and the building envelope, ensuring the safety of guests, associates and vendors while upholding company standards and energy efficiency.

You will perform preventive maintenance, check electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, repair or replace components, service the pool, manage basic carpentry tasks, and respond courteously to guest questions and requests to

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry trade skills.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders.
• Inspect electrical systems and perform minor repairs.
• Repair or replace hotel equipment including HVAC, plumbing and lighting.
• Service the pool and maintain exterior areas for curb appeal.
• Respond politely to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
