Job summary

NC State University’s Wellness and Recreation department seeks a Facility Assistant to manage the equipment room, ensure clean and safe facility spaces, and set up activities. The role supports open recreation and serves as a frontline contact for participants with a strong emphasis on safety and service.

The position is part-time (up to 20 hours/week) and requires active student status with certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED.

Responsibilities

• Ensure user safety by supervising activities and enforcing guidelines.

• Oversee equipment desk, check-out/check-in for items, laundry, and lost & found.
• Supervise open recreation activities and set up spaces as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility.
