The University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business is seeking a Facilities Assistant I to support daily operations and maintenance of its facilities in Ann Arbor. Responsibilities include cleaning, basic maintenance, and logistical support for classrooms and events, with a schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
Applicants must have a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service experience, and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

This role is on-site in Ann Arbor, MI. The work schedule will include weekdays and weekends and may follow either an evening or daytime shift. Sample schedules include Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A shift premium is available for qualifying evening shifts. The Facilities Assistant I supports the daily operations and maintenance of the Ross School of Business facilities. Responsibilities include general cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and providing logistical support for classrooms and events. You will also help address facilities-related inquiries and respond to safety, security, and emergency situations. You will report directly to the Building Manager.

The posting range for this position is $38,100 to $44,800. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
