The University of Michigan is seeking an HR Assistant for the School of Kinesiology in Ann Arbor. The role is onsite with potential for hybrid arrangements, supporting onboarding, records, and compliance while delivering top‑level customer service to faculty, staff, and students.
You will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources and collaborate with multiple HR stakeholders to ensure timely responses and accurate maintenance of personnel data and processes.
The School of Kinesiology is currently the fourth largest school at the University of Michigan – the top public research institution in the country. In this newly designed role, you will play a pivotal onsite role in providing a welcoming environment, recruiting and onboarding processes, records and compliance management, and other complex administrative functions while collaborating with multiple customer groups. As the HR Assistant, you will ensure prompt, efficient, and professional responses to employee inquiries. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, you will receive functional direction from multiple individuals, and will support the HR team in providing the highest level of customer service to all School of Kinesiology constituents.
