Door of Hope is a Christian, faith-based nonprofit that equips families facing homelessness to rebuild their lives. The Facilities Assistant (FA) supports this mission by coordinating facilities maintenance and repairs while also assisting in preventative maintenance.
This individual should be patient, independent, hard-working, and have the ability to think quickly during times of high stress. The FA must have an interest in facility upkeep and repair. Knowledge of general facilities maintenance is helpful, but Door of Hope will offer more training in specific plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with integrity and a willingness to learn. The candidate should have general experience in maintenance or handyman services.
Expected compensation: $24/hour to $28/hour depending on experience
