Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
• Experience with enterprise financial, property, or asset management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of CUNY policies related to property management, procurement, fixed assets, and audits.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property records, ensuring asset information and supporting docs are current.
• Enters and updates property data in college systems; checks for completeness and accuracy.
• Resolves discrepancies in asset records and communicates findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinates periodic property verifications and tracks responses and follow-ups.
• Processes asset transactions (additions, transfers, relocations, retirements) per policy.
• Prepares reports and schedules for audits, reconciliations, and management reviews.
• Supports departments on property-management processes and documentation.
• Assists with property-related audits by gathering documents and coordinating responses.
• Maintains logs of communications and follow-ups across campus offices.
