Job summary

Marsden South, a subsidiary of Marsden Services, is seeking an Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for assigned accounts in the northern Atlanta market. You will supervise cleaning and safety teams and ensure the contracted scope of work is met with consistent quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, employee engagement, customer relations, growth opportunities, and proactive safety initiatives, with strong collaboration with regional and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management experience leading front-line service employees across multiple sites.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general cleanliness of assigned location and cleaning team: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash, restrooms.
• Primary client contact person for assigned account and proactive resolution of issues.
• Investigate customer complaints, follow up, document findings and propose action plans.
• Reply to Emergency calls.
• Complete safety audits and conduct safety training.
• Assign tasks to associates and inspect completed work for standards conformance.
• Coach, develop and mentor staff to meet account needs.
• Responsible for E-Hub time keeping and general payroll duties.
• Attend and participate in regional and corporate management meetings.
• Suggest improvements for efficiency, growth, and service delivery.
