Job summary

Marsden Services seeks an Area Manager to oversee Northeastern Ohio accounts, leading cleaning and safety operations while ensuring contract scope is met. You will manage staffing, coordinate payroll, and maintain strong client relationships to deliver exceptional service.

The role emphasizes leadership, employee engagement, and accountability, with a focus on growth opportunities and continuous improvement across multiple sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience leading frontline service employees across multiple sites.
• Experience in janitorial, facility services, or related service industry preferred.
• Client-facing responsibilities and/or business development is a plus.
• Budgeting and/or P&L responsibility preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned accounts, ensuring cleanliness standards and contract scope are met.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining relationships and proactively resolving issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop frontline associates and supervisors to drive performance and retention.
• Ensure safety standards through audits, training, and accountability.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processes.
• Monitor service delivery and inspect work quality to drive improvements.
