An Equipment Maintenance Technician must possess and be able to apply electrical and mechanical knowledge, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures in our R&D and manufacturing environment.
Bachelor or Associate degree in engineering or other science/technology field is desired. High school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
At least 5 years of experience and proven ability in safely performing electrical and mechanical repairs and/or installations of various types of equipment and machinery is required. Familiarity with vacuum pumps and high temperature furnaces and hot presses for ceramic processing is highly desired.
Well-balanced technical background is desired. Detailed knowledge of a wide variety of equipment and machining processes is desired.
Ability to safely operate high temperature equipment. Some heavy lifting required.
US citizenship is required.
