Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is seeking Hakha Chin language interpreters for face-to-face assignments in Columbus, OH. Choose your own hours and take on as many or as few assignments as you like, with the potential to earn based on the available work.

Interpreters are responsible for providing in-person interpretation at medical, social service and other appointments. Applicants must meet background checks, training, and eligibility requirements to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Be located in Central Ohio.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening.
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours.
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation.

As a face-to-face interpreter, you'll use your language skills to assist others during medical, social service and other types of appointments. Interpreting with Access is a great way to earn money. Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' "Access Academy", Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
